For many fall semester means pumpkins spice, reconnecting with friends and new classes. With those new classes comes assignments that for some can be extremely overwhelming.
I got out around campus to see how fellow students felt about the semester so far and some of the responses were grim. I was able to track down three students and get their take on things.
Laura Resendiz a new transfer student says, “I feel hella swamped! I just transferred so it’s been difficult finding my rhythm on a new campus.”
The second student interviewed, Kim Berly, had similar thoughts to Resendiz saying, “I feel swamped and a little overwhelmed. Some of the workloads for classes are more than others so i am struggling to find a balance of time.”
The last student interviewed, Sarah Marquez, said, “I feel on top of things. I carry around a planner that I use to write down all of my assignments so I know when things are due.”
